Retail Sales Customer Care
Key competencies Essential Recruitment Criteria

Customer Service Focus

  • To make outbound customer care calls, to maintain ongoing relationship with customers and to feed back information to sales managers across the Gilder Group with a view to building customer loyalty.
  • Send marketing materials and letters to existing finance customers to advise/sell benefits of changing vehicles mid contract
  • Project a professional image of the organisation through phone interaction
  • Project a professional company image through phone interaction

 

Operational / Commercial Focus

  • Outbound customer care calls
  • Acquire and confirm customer details
  • Establish enquiry status and acquire additional further information
  • Create prospect customer records and establish contact
  • Identify, research and handle customer queries and objections

 

Business Focus

  • Maintain online database
  • Record customer feedback and report information gathered to Sales Managers
  • Transfer strong sales leads back to Sales Managers
  • Maintain customer contact through online diary management system

Personal Qualities

  • Patient
  • Resilient
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • A passion for Customer Care/Service
  • Good attention to detail

 

Education

  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn customer service software applications.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to type proficiently.

 

Experience

  • Experience in a customer care driven business - or call centre environment would be helpful
